The staff was excellent, efficient, and responded promptly to requests. They helped us get a shuttle to the airport. We were upgraded to superior king room with comfy beds on check in. The breakfast was gluten free with including novel treats such as honeycomb and prosecco, and the coffee bar was a plus.

Amazing views of the county and the famous Siena sunset. It turned out to be a very decent restaurant in the hotel itself. Special thanks to the chef for his wonderful dishes. And what a magical breakfast compared to many other hotels! A very big advantage - there is free parking. The room was of a decent size with a very comfortable bed and pillows. We were still lucky to be put up on a floor with a terrace from which you can watch these delightful views.
It was not comfortable that the neighboring rooms were being renovated. On the other hand, it's great that the hotel is renovating the rooms - we were living in a room that was clearly undergoing renovation not so long ago.

We stayed in this hotel so that we could see Siena, you can admit that it exceeded my expectations, it is a hotel reformed with austerity, not at all modern, that fits perfectly with Tuscany. What I liked most about this hotel is that they had free parking, free water (. since most hotels where we stayed in Tuscany charge for water and at a golden price) and free slippers for the house. of those to use and throw away, it seems silly but it is a plus. location, although it is on the outskirts, is within the old town, walking 5 minutes you have the duomo and square. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to travel to Tuscany and stay in one place, as it has free parking and offers you the possibility to come and go. to visit all the surrounding villages without spending a fortune on parking. ( which are expensive ) The great breakfast, varied and with. many options. staff in general very friendly and in this hotel. they also gave us our map of siena to move around the city peacefully.
The problem is the location of our room (when we got there, the cheap room). We were next to the hotel counter and everyone was coming and going, which made the room very noisy. And we had a mini window. I guess the standard room would be better.

The location was great. Free parking was a nice bonus and the breakfast was very good.

The staff was friendly, a parking space was available, the location is close to the city center (10 min walk).
The breakfast was very poor: no descent coffee, not much choice, fruit came out of a can, ... . Moreover, some floor tiles in our bathroom were loosening, I cant imagine they didn't know this. The room was also very small. And finally, tv had no international news channel like cnn or bbc or others. So a rather disappointing stay.

location is excellent, from the room we could see the olive groves, hill with its wall. It's exciting to visit Siena! It's moving to the Middle Ages. Everything is a step away from there. room is tidy, clean, all the details are taken care of. day we arrived we were welcomed with a Tuscany wine (delicious) and some chocolates on the pillows. Every day they left us candies and mini bar waters are free of charge. Wifi is excellent, as is the cable TV with all the channels, heating is spectacular. breakfast is excellent!!! There is everything, super complete and delicious!!! Everything in Siena is like that. hams, wines, sweets, fruits. An outstanding place for all the staff, efficient, always in a good mood and very attentive. Thank you Hotel Athena!!! My family really enjoyed their stay in Siena! We recommend the hotel and also Siena, if you can stay in this wonderful city for a few days, you can not miss Siena! We will be back!
I have no comment on that, it was all 10!

The room and the bathroom were very spacious, comfortable and clean. Beautiful common terrace area with great views -- wonderful to sit after a day of sightseeing with a book and something to drink. Service was good, as was the breakfast. Parking garage under the hotel.
At the far end of the old city -- still a good location and absolutely within walking distance of everything.

The staff were excellent - more than happy to help with advice about renting bikes, where to go, and what to see. The room was exactly as described, and was well cleaned and maintained. The location was good - within the walls of inner Siena, and probably a 10-15 minute walk to most attractions.

A Hidden Gem with Fine Views!
We were thrilled by our corner room's amazing views, with a comfy bed and spacious layout making our stay lovely. The terrace bar is a must-visit for sunset cocktails. Pro tip, try to time your breakfast for the freshest pastries. It's a treat you don't want to miss!

Great location, 10 min walk from town center , free parking. Large marble bathroom.
Although we had "deluxe" room , it did not appear like one. Rooms need refurnished , they look old and tired. Uncomfortable beds. They did not use quilts for the beds but blankets.

would like to stay there on the next trip
The room had a cozy bed and a nice balcony view. Breakfast was awesome with fresh pastries and local Tuscan treats. The rooftop terrace is an amazing spot for happy hour from 4-7, offering amazing views of the countryside. Super convenient location for exploring the historic center with easy parking.
